Description Family Dryopteridaceae Originating from Temperate Asia Lush, abundant and compact, broad and fantastically rich coloured leaflets create a tropical feel to understory planting in woodland, oriental and jungle style gardens. Its wide elongated leaflets terminate in an elegant pointed tip, each one with subtle variations in shades of deep green to yellow green. They undulate too, and are packed onto each leaf’s central stem (rachis), creating a bounteous mass of foliage on each of the many leaves, together forming an impressively lush evergreen shuttlecock-shaped fern. Easy to grow in any soil in full or dappled shade. Mature height and spread after 3 – 4 years 50cm x 50cm
