Description Family Sapindaceae Originating from China Intricately detailed and exuberantly colourful, delicate and yet loud, this incredible Snakebark Maple is highly ornamental in all its parts. The deciduous bright green leaves emerge with baby pink markings. As they mature to a dark rich green their pink variegation becomes white, highlighting the brilliant coral red leaf stem. Forming a large shrub, or eventually a small tree, the dark grey bark is marbled with streaks of white, making a highly ornamental tracery of branches that looks stunning in winter. Height and spread after 10 – 20 years 4m x 4m.
