Description Family Boraginaceae Originating from Turkey, the Caucasus and Georgia to w Siberia Exquisitely fine and lacy leaf markings decorate the heart-shaped leaves of this elegant perennial, giving them a silvery/jade overall colour, and making them stand out perfectly in dappled shade. Forming mounds of abundant foliage that is preceded by elegant spikes of flowers, ‘Looking Glass’ makes a distinctive addition to woodland and jungle gardens. Its combination of dainty, intensely blue flowers and silver veined foliage warrants viewing close up at the front of borders. Easy to grow and robust once established in moist part shade and in any soil type. Height and spread after 2 – 5 years 50cm x 1m.
